At Escape we aim to bridge the gap between independent travel in India, and a package holiday provided by a large, impersonal, corporate travel agent. We are here to give you a helping hand with your plans and to ensure you get the best value for your money. Holidays in India can be a bit of a culture shock but this can be a positive experience if your arrangements are well prepared in advance. You decide what level of service you require with one of our travel consultants. We could arrange for a car to greet you at the airport, take you to a good hotel and leave you to make your own arrangements from there; or we can arrange all your accommodation, transport, and excursions for your entire holiday. The choice is yours.
We are different from a regular travel agent because our consultants have all travelled extensively throughout India. They will give you up-to-date advice about the whole country, from the Himalaya mountains in the north, to the beaches of Goa and Kerala in the south. Things change rapidly in India so it’s a tough job for a guide book or foreign travel agent to keep up. What was a good hotel one year can be indifferent, or worse, the next. We’re based in India which means we’re well placed to keep an eye on the latest developments and search out new, exciting, undiscovered destinations for you to enjoy.
Wherever possible we use locally owned services and hotels so that you directly benefit the communities you travel to while on holiday. We also try to find accommodation that has ecologically sound environmental policies such as solar powered hot water, good garbage disposal and re-cycling practice. In a developing nation this is a tough job, but we do our best. We’re continually adding to our portfolio of suppliers that fit the bill, and we hope that by asking for environmentally responsible services we help get the message across.
